The Jordan Family Foundation

September 28th, 2013

Descendants of the Reverend Robert Jordan and his Spouse [Sarah Winter] are invited to become supporting members of the Foundation regardless of where they may reside. While records tell us the Reverend’s home before coming to the New World was Worcester, [Worcestershire] England, his descendants today are spread across the globe. The Family Jordan, and subsequently the Jordan Family Foundation, has done an excellent job in tracking and maintaining a database in excess of 100,000 names. Of these, it is believed 27,000 plus are the Reverend’s descendants. Many books have been written about Reverend Robert and descendants. These are supplemented by documents, papers, artifacts, newsletters, and items, maintained in the Family Archives. One of the more recent books [ July 2013] Is the Family Jordan Chronicles by Ralph L. Jordan. Copies of this book are available for reference in a dozen or so libraries throughout the United States. The Family Jordan, a 3-volume genealogy book set containing 84,000 plus names compiled by Adelbert “Jean” Andy Annonson and edited by Roland Gene Jordan is also available in many genealogy libraries. A CD of of the book set along with updates is available on the Family Website, <>

Currently, an endeavor is underway to increase International Membership in the Foundation. More members result in more contacts and an enhancement to the Family Database that becomes highly instrumental in helping Jordan families connect with present and past kinfolk.

Persons residing outside the Continental United States who are interested in learning more about the Jordan Family Foundation, its programs, benefits, and objectives, are asked to email:   or Communication to: Ralph L. Jordan, 3773 Eversholt St., Clermont, FL 34711
